Technical Sales Manager – Sensors - Field-Based UK - £50-£60K plus car + bonus + good benefits\nAre you a technically strong sales professional with a passion for sensors and engineered solutions?\nWe’re partnering with a highly respected, international electronics solutions provider looking to appoint a Technical Sales Manager to drive growth across their UK Sensors portfolio.\nThis is a field-based role with home office flexibility, offering real autonomy and the opportunity to influence design decisions at engineering level.\nThe Opportunity\nYou’ll take ownership of developing and growing the UK sensor market — from design-in at engineering stage through to commercial account management.\nWorking with OEMs and design engineers, you’ll introduce advanced sensor technologies including:\n * Temperature & environmental sensors\n * MEMS (pressure, accelerometers, gas)\n * Position & load sensors\n * EMECH solutions (switches, interconnect, power)\nThis is a consultative, solution-led sales role where technical credibility is key.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\n * Proactively targeting and winning new OEM customers\n * Driving design-in activity with engineers and technical teams\n * Managing and growing existing strategic accounts\n * Negotiating and closing profitable business\n * Building a strong opportunity pipeline and delivering against revenue & margin targets\n * Representing the business at exhibitions and industry events\nWhat We’re Looking For\n * Proven technical sales or FAE background\n * Experience selling sensors (2+ years preferred)\n * Strong understanding of sensor technologies & applications\n * Commercially astute with ownership of revenue/margin targets\n * Engineering or Electronics degree (or equivalent experience\n * UK driving licence & willingness to travel weekly\nYou’ll be self-motivated, commercially driven and confident engaging both engineers and procurement stakeholders
