KS3 and 4 Teaching Assistant required asap\n\nWe are currently seeking to appoint a above Teaching Assistant at a welcoming secondary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in education or a related setting who is committed to making a difference in a child’s learning journey.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Provide dedicated 1:1 and general support to pupils within a classroom setting\n\n * Assist the class teacher with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources\n\n * Monitor and record progress, reporting back to teachers and SENCOs\n\n * Encourage the pupil’s independence and participation in classroom activities\n\n * Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for learning\n\n * Engage with students, particularly those with special needs, to promote inclusive learning\n\n * Maintain a safe and organised classroom environment conducive to learning\n\nCandidate Requirements:\n\n * Ideally hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2, or 3) – desirable but not essential\n\n * Eligible to work in the UK\n\n * Experience working with children in the last 2 years – in school or alternative settings such as youth work, residential care, Scouts/Guides, or sports coaching\n\n * Experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis – highly desirable\n\n * Calm, patient, and nurturing approach\n\n * Two professional references relating to work with children\n\n * A current Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)\n\nWhat Exclusive Education Offers:\n\n * Competitive daily pay rates\n\n * Strong relationships with local schools\n\n * A dedicated consultant available 24/7 for ongoing support\n\n * A fast and smooth registration and clearance process\n\n * A genuine commitment to safeguarding and educational quality\n\nReferral Bonus:\nRefer a Teacher, Teaching Assistant, or Cover Supervisor and receive £50 in vouchers when they work with us (terms apply)
