Senior Security Engineer

Occasional overnight stays required.\n\nThe role covers the North London/Hertfordshire/Slough/Thames Valley/M40 corridor.\n\nDuties of Senior Security Engineer:\n\n * Install, service, commission and maintain intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems to current BS EN/PD standards\n\n * Diagnose faults across all security disciplines and carry out effective repairs and corrective actions\n\n * Complete small works, system upgrades and equipment replacements as required\n\n * Lead on customer sites where required to ensure projects are delivered on time and to exceptional quality\n\n * Support the Engineering Manager with operational decisions, technical problem solving and site-based challenges\n\n * Work efficiently within the engineering team to ensure project deadlines and targets are achieved\n\n * Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and compliant with industry regulations and RAMS\n\n * Maintain accurate documentation, reports and compliance records\n\n * Participate in the on-call rota and be available for occasional overnight stays\n\n * Attend company meetings and follow all company procedures\n\n * Maintain exceptional levels of customer service and client communication\n\n * Conduct all activities in a professional manner, supporting the wider workforce and contributing to the company’s “one team” ethos\n\nSkills and Experience required by Senior Security Engineer:\n\n * Minimum 3 years’ experience installing, servicing and maintaining intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems\n\n * Proficiency with the following systems is desirable\n\n * CCTV: Dahua\n\n * Intruder: Texecom, Pyronix, Ajax and Galaxy\n\n * Access Control: Paxton\n\n * "Can do" attitude\n\n * Security screening to BS7858 standard - Essential\n\n * A full UK driving licence - Essential\n\nLocation: North London/Hertfordshire/Slough/Thames Valley/M40 corridor\nSalary: Up to: £50K + stand by fee, overtime payments and overnight inconvenience fee\nHolidays: 27 days + birthday day off + bank holidays\nBenefits: Free physiotherapy, GP and Counselling service, discounts on groceries to well-known retailers.
