Senior Quantity Surveyor

Pinnacle Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on Thames Water projects based out of London.\n\nSalary - £65,000 - £85,000 DOE\n\nKey Competencies\n\n * BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying, with a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in an NEC contract environment;\n\n * Demonstrable understanding of both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract work;\n\n * Proficient working knowledge of NEC 3 main and subcontract contract forms (essential);\n\n * Strong written and verbal communication skills (essential);\n\n * Strong user of Excel, charts, pivots, lookups and sheet automation.\n\nRole Summary\n\n * Administration of NEC3 contracts, Options A and C including PSC;\n\n * Maintain contract project documentation;\n\n * Preparation and issue of EWN’s and CE’s to the supply chain and clients;\n\n * Attend weekly and monthly commercial meetings at a project level;\n\n * Monitor change control at a project level;\n\n * Liaise with the programmer(s) at a project level;\n\n * Pre, during and post contract liaison with clients and supply chain;\n\n * Supply chain negotiation and letting package of work;\n\n * Manage and value variations/ CE’s;\n\n * Preparation and submission of monthly valuations;\n\n * Preparation and submission of final accounts;\n\n * Preparation and submission of project tenders including follow up;\n\n * Develop and maintain relationships with relevant client representatives and the supply chain.\n\nBenefits\n\n * Competitive Salary\n\n * 25 days annual leave\n\n * Long Service Scheme\n\n * Car allowance\n\n * Access to Group Pension Scheme after completion of probation\n\n * Life Assurance and Critical Illness cover if joining pension scheme\n\n * Healthcare cover for employee only\n\n * Access to Employee Assistance Programme & Medicash after successful completion of probation\n\n * CSR Programme (3 days supported per annum)\n\n * Continuous Development Opportunities
