Private Client Solicitor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established and growing law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services across Essex and Suffolk.

This full-time, permanent position will sit within the firm's expanding Private Client team. While the firm is based in Colchester, the successful candidate will primarily be based at the Manningtree office, conveniently located between Colchester and Ipswich.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment, handling a broad range of private client matters while building strong, long-term client relationships.

\nYou will join a friendly and experienced team, advising clients on a wide variety of private client matters and providing tailored, practical advice to individuals and families.

The role offers high levels of client contact, autonomy and the opportunity to play an important role in the continued growth of the department.

\nKey Responsibilities

• Advising clients on wills, trusts and estate planning
\n\t
• Handling probate and estate administration matters
\n\t
• Advising on powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters
\n\t
• Providing inheritance tax and succession planning advice
\n\t
• Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision and support
\n\t
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
\n\t
• Supporting business development and networking activities
\n\t
\n\t

• About You

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Private Client matters
\n\t
• Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate and estate administration
\n\t
• Excellent communication and client care skills

• Organised with strong attention to detail

• Able to manage a varied caseload effectively
\n\t
• Commercially aware and keen to contribute to the growth of the team

• A collaborative team player with a proactive approach
