V7 Recruitment are looking for a Freelance Construction Manager/ Block Manager to work on an apartment build scheme in Newcastle!\n \n Start Date - ASAP\n \n End Date - December 2026\n \n Rate- Negotiable\n \n Ideal candidate-\nProven track record managing high-rise residential or large-scale reinforced concrete frame projects\nStrong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and programme management\nHolds SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications\nExcellent leadership and communication skills\nCapable of managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating complex packages\nStrong commitment to health & safety and quality assurance\n Duties-\nOversee daily site operations to ensure projects run efficiently, safely, and within budget and programme constraints\nCoordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and on-site teams to maintain productivity and workflow\nWork alongside the Project Manager and commercial team to monitor progress, costs, and overall performance\nEnforce compliance with health & safety regulations and internal company standards across all activities\nDrive programme delivery by identifying risks early and implementing solutions to avoid delays\nLead site meetings, produce progress reports, and carry out regular quality inspections\nMaintain high standards of workmanship, ensuring snagging items are identified and resolved promptly\n\nV7 Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer and does not discriminate on the grounds of age, disability, gender, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
