A leading UK law firm with a strong international outlook is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join its growing Birmingham disputes team.

Recognised for delivering commercially focused advice to businesses, entrepreneurs, investors and private clients, the firm offers a collaborative environment, high-quality work and genuine opportunities for progression.

The Opportunity

You will join a well-established commercial disputes practice acting for a diverse client base ranging from SMEs and owner-managed businesses through to large corporates, financial institutions, insolvency practitioners and high-net-worth individuals.

The team advises on a broad spectrum of contentious matters, including:

• Complex contractual disputes
• Shareholder, partnership and joint venture disputes
• Professional negligence claims
• Fraud, asset tracing and recovery matters
• Director and fiduciary duty disputes
• Contentious insolvency matters
• Injunctive relief and interim applications
• Cross-border and multi-jurisdictional disputes

The role offers significant client contact and the opportunity to work closely with partners on strategically important and often high-value matters.

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from solicitors with approximately 3–8 years' PQE gained within a recognised commercial disputes practice.

You will ideally demonstrate:

• Strong technical litigation skills and sound procedural knowledge
• Experience handling a broad range of commercial disputes
• Excellent drafting, advocacy and negotiation abilities
• Confidence managing client relationships and business development activities
• A pragmatic and commercially minded approach to dispute resolution
• The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
