Air Conditioning Engineer\n\nLondon\n\n£45,000 - £50,000\n\nJob Overview\n\nWe are seeking an experienced and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out installation, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), diagnostics and repairs on a range of commercial and residential air conditioning systems.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have strong installation background along with fault-finding skills and hands-on experience working with leading manufacturers including Daikin, Panasonic, and Mitsubishi Electric systems.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCarrying out installations\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning systems.\nDiagnose and repair faults across a range of split, multi-split, VRV/VRF, and heat pump systems.\nService and maintain equipment to manufacturer standards.\nAttend reactive breakdown callouts and resolve issues efficiently.\nComplete detailed service reports and maintenance documentation.\nIdentify and recommend remedial works where required.\nEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures and industry regulations.\nMaintain high standards of customer service and communication while on site.\nWork independently and manage daily workload effectively.\nParticipate in an out-of-hours callout rota where required.\nEnsure company vehicle, tools, and equipment are maintained in good condition. \n\nEssential Skills & Experience\n\nProven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer (minimum 3 years)\nStrong working knowledge of:\nDaikin systems\nPanasonic systems\nMitsubishi Electric systems\nExcellent fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.\nExperience carrying out servicing and maintenance works.\nKnowledge of VRV/VRF systems, split systems, and heat pumps.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.\nGood understanding of refrigeration principles and electrical controls.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nStrong communication and customer service skills.\nFull UK driving licence.
\n\nEssential Qualifications\n\nF-Gas Category 1 Certification.\nRelevant HVAC / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualification.\nNVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (preferred). \n\nDesirable Experience\n\nExperience working in commercial environments including offices, retail, hospitality, and industrial sites.\nManufacturer training certifications from Daikin, Panasonic, or Mitsubishi Electric. \n\nPersonal Attributes\n\nReliable and punctual.\nProfessional and presentable.\nStrong problem-solving skills.\nPositive attitude and willingness to learn.\nAble to remain calm under pressure.\nOrganised with good attention to detail
